Eddy Skye arose from the Cleveland, Ohio open mic circuit over a decade ago performing under the moniker Darius Monsoon. 

He quickly gained momentum and began to showcase his own songs along with favored cover tunes throughout various coffeehouses & cafes. These early 'Monsoon' days functioned as an incubus for his ever-evolving craft. 

The music has taken a definite shape in recent years and presents itself as a hazy bedroom pop daydream, a nu-gaze modern folk-rock soundscape molded from whispery hooky vocal melodies & harmonies set against gorgeous layers of guitar bliss. 

Although he is now in a five year hiatus from live performance, Eddy is currently recording original material and plans to release three separate singles in 2021. He also anticipates the return to Dark Tree Studios, were he began to work on a five song EP entitled "Become the Rain" in early 2019 before the pandemic became a newfound reality. 

Forever a sentimental soul, he has in recent years become very nostalgic and frequently indulges in something he calls 'Cover Song Therapy' which compels him to revisit/reinvent popular & not-so-popular favorites and channel it  through his own folk-rock/bedroom-pop sense of musical perception. 

Eddy is also a full-time essential grocery store worker and continues to strive for a balance between these two realms of existence.
